The Halloween Mystery
In the lively town of Spooksville, Halloween was more than just a night; it was an event. Houses draped in ghostly sheets and carved pumpkins illuminated every porch. The entire town buzzed with the tales of a magical candy that granted a single wish to the one who found it.
Henry, a ten-year-old with a penchant for mysteries, was determined to find this magical treat. Following hushed stories from elder siblings and chalk-drawn signs on sidewalks, Henry's trail led to the oldest house in town – the mysterious Mansion of Mirrors.
Inside, a maze of mirrors reflected countless versions of Henry. After what felt like hours of twists and turns, Henry stumbled upon a room with a single candy resting atop a pedestal, surrounded by mirrors. As Henry reached out and took the candy, the room lit up, revealing messages from all the children who had made wishes in the past.
Instead of making a wish for himself, Henry wished that every year, another child would get the chance to experience the magic he did that night.
