The Mystery of the Dancing Pumpkins
On a crisp Halloween night, the town square was buzzing with joy. Children ran around in their costumes, laughing and playing games. But Tom, a curious boy known for his love of mysteries, noticed something strange. Every time the town clock struck the hour, one pumpkin from the pumpkin patch would jump and do a little dance!
Intrigued, Tom decided to investigate. He hid behind a bush and waited. As midnight approached, an old woman wearing a long cloak approached the patch, carrying a basket of shiny golden seeds. She sang a soft lullaby and sprinkled the seeds over the pumpkins. Magic filled the air as each pumpkin began to sway and jive.
Realizing the old woman was the town's forgotten gardener, Mrs. Green, Tom approached her. She told him about the magic seeds passed down in her family, which made plants come alive every Halloween night. But she needed a young helper to continue the tradition.
Excited, Tom agreed, and from that night on, the town had a spectacular pumpkin dance every Halloween, all thanks to Tom and Mrs. Green's magical seeds.
