The Pumpkin Parade's Surprise
Every Halloween, the children of Maple Town eagerly participated in the Pumpkin Parade. Each child would carve a face onto their pumpkin and place it outside their home. But this year, something wonderful happened.
Barry, known for his wild stories, had a tiny magic bell he found while climbing a hill. On a whim, he rang it near his pumpkin. To his surprise, the pumpkin sprang to life! It grew tiny feet and started to march around, playing a tiny flute.
Barry showed his friends, and soon, every child wanted their pumpkin to come to life. By evening, Maple Town was filled with lively marching pumpkins, each playing its own tiny instrument. The music was so delightful that even the grown-ups couldn’t resist dancing.
As dawn approached, the pumpkins went back to their places, returning to their usual still selves, leaving their tiny instruments behind. The magic bell, tired from all the magic, turned to a small stone.
The next day, the town was filled with stories of the most enchanting Halloween ever. Barry kept the stone, waiting for another day of magic.
